During the events of Arkham Shadow, the GCPD Headquarters is the site of a tense strategic meeting between Batman, Commissioner Jim Gordon, and District Attorney Harvey Dent. Shortly after Dent departs, the facility becomes a target; a sniper attempts to shoot Gordon, forcing Batman to pursue the shooter, identified as Shrike. After Batman saved hostages in the sewers, he arrived at the station to confer with Gordon and Dent regarding the Rat King's threat. The meeting was cut short when a shot rang out, aimed squarely at Gordon. Batman gave chase through the city streets, cornering the shooter—Shrike—at the Monarch Theatre. Later, the atmosphere within the headquarters shifted from tactical planning to legal confrontation. Malone, still in disguise, faced Gordon and Dent in an interrogation room regarding the disappearance of Chris Nakano. The tension peaked when Crane attempted to drug Malone; the toxin splashed onto Dent's face, burning his skin and twisting his psyche. As Dent was dragged away vowing revenge on Malone, the station stood witness to the birth of Two-Face.
